Fall 2007 Survey launched

Yesterday, Sunday, August 12, 2007, we launched our Fall 2007 Survey. This is an effort to obtain feedback from you our members. This will help us improve the club and make sure everyone is getting the most out of their time and efforts. We encourage you to give us your feedback. The survey is completely ANONYMOUS, therefore answer these questions honestly and include your thoughts/constructive criticisms in the appropriate areas.

August meeting recap

We had a total of 18 people in attendance for the August meeting. We discussed topics that members would like to see in the coming months. Speakers within are group are running thin, therefore I am going to start looking outward and try to invite other photographers from the surrounding area(s) to share their expertise and passion. You might have also noticed that you did not receive any information about the August meeting. I was pushed for time and was not able to get postcards out before leaving for a business trip out of town the week prior. I then decided to use the meeting as a test, what would happen if we didn’t promote the meeting at all. I wanted to see exactly how many people would remember to come without a reminder and to prove our methods of communication – combined – work well (i.e. the forum, the email distribution list, postcards, our myspace.com site, etc.) I appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing you soon.
