South Carolina Wildlife photographer to be guest speaker
Posted by admin in Meeting details on September 19th, 2008
I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I just got the final that Phillip Jones from the South Carolina Wildlife magazine will be speaking at our Oct. 9, 2008 meeting. If you have never seen the magazine you don’t know what you are missing. I have personally envied their work since I got into photography.
So mark you calendars and make sure to bring a friend because this is going to be a great meeting!

We had a great meeting this month. A little less than 30 people in attendance as Steve Hewett shared tips & tricks about fall color. We also discussed our upcoming fall color trip and tried to hammer out the details for the second annual trip. I’ll be sharing more information very soon. If you are interested please email me at info@sumtershutterbugs.com — subject: fall color trip
Also don’t forget about getting your entries in for this year’s Sumter County Fair, links to the entry form, tags and other information can be found here. DEADLINE for entries is: Noon on September 25th, 2008
Adding to better serve you!
Yesterday we revisited and reactivated our Yahoo group! and would like for you to join us. Why a Yahoo group! now? Well I was looking for ways to reach more of our members. Not everyone is on the forum or has time to check it, so it was suggested long ago that we have a discussion group like this, we already had it in place and decided to revisit it.
Want to join us, then email me at info@sumtershutterbugs.com and I’ll get you added right away.
One thing that might help some of you is to change your status to receive a daily digest, so you get all the messages from the day condensed into one email versus getting several emails throughout the day. Just a thought, if you need help or want me to change your setting for you, just let me know.
As always keep all constructive criticism coming my way. Nothing is too small and are always looking for ways to better server YOU our members.
I look forward to your participation in the coming months and years.
