Get ‘em ready already!

Make sure to enter your pictures in this year’s Sumter County Fair, here is what you need to know:

  • It’s FREE!
  • You can enter two (2) pieces
  • Your photograph(s) must be FRAMED and READY TO HAND [Wire securely attached to the back]
  • Must be something you’ve taken in the last two years
  • Must be at least an 8×10 — there is no maximum size limit however
  • Must complete ID card and place it securely on the lower right hand corner.
  • Complete a registration form and have it postmarked by Sept. 24, 2009
  • Drop off your artwork between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009

Meeting this Thursday @ 7pm

Just a friendly reminder about our meeting this Thursday, September 10, 2009, at 7 p.m. in the community meeting room at Sumter Mall. We have a great meeting planned for you and hope that you can attend.

Senior Airman Kathrine McDowell, currently stationed at Shaw Air Force Base, is going to share her experience of photographing the inauguration of President Barrack Obama as well as share images that she has taken during her career as a photographer for the United State Air Force. We will also be helping club members finalize their selection for this year’s Sumter County Fair. It is FREE and each person can enter two (2) entries. EVERYONE SHOULD ENTER AT LEAST ONE PICTURE! That is our club goal this year.
