One of our members asked about photographing raindrops, so I here are some tips and a neat little video that I found describing how to not only photograph them, but how to come up with create backgrounds for your picture too, enjoy!
You’ll need …
- A tripod or Gorillapod
- Macro Lens (or other macro setup)
- A Plamp or similar device
- Rainy day OR a spray bottle
- Flowers
- PATIENCE!
Some other things to remember …
- Shoot on a windless day
- Find raindrop and compose your image
- Focus on the image in the center of the raindrop
- Flower that is in the shade OR us a diffuser
- Open up your aperture
- Find general position w/ fingers and then replace with flower
- Making your own background! *This is pretty neat
